Mezzoni Foods offers all natural fermentation and non-fermentation based shelf life extenders as well as flavor enhancers. Our blends of fermentation based products come in four varieties – Cultured Whey, Cultured Dextrose, Cultured Wheat and Cultured Brown Rice. These products are a combination of short-chain organic acids and other natural fermentation-derived metabolites that can extend the shelf life and enhance the flavor profile in everything from baked goods, cheeses and meats to salad dressings, condiments, dips, spreads and more. By preventing the growth of a variety of bacteria, these products can replace chemical preservatives like sorbates and benzoates while offering a clean ingredient label. We also carry natural flavors in powder and liquid form that can help inhibit the growth of yeast, mold, gram negative and gram positive bacteria. We work with every customer individually to fully understand each application and its requirements.
